Barden Bridge is a picturesque crossing of the Wharfe just adjacent to Barden Tower where the road forks over the river to the nearby village of Appletreewick in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
[N.B. Barden lends its name to the so called "Barden Triangle" an area of supposed supernatural activity which includes the magical Elbolton Hill near Thorpe and the nightmarish ravine that is Trollers-Gill near Appletreewick.]
