Harewood is a village north of Leeds at the very end of Wharfedale. Although outside of the "classicial" Yorkshire Dales area itself, the area has a special connection with the dales in hosting a purpose built set for the filming of the popular T.V. soap "Emmerdale" (though please note that this is not actually open to the public).
Attractions include the magnificent Harewood House and the Harewood Hill Climb.
