Masongill

Masongill is a small village near Ingleton in the Yorkshire Dales.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's mother lived here, and it is believed by some that the Sherlock Holmes author gained inspiration from tales of the Barguest for "The Hound of the Baskervilles while staying there.
