Halton Gill

Halton Gill is a small village near the head of Littondale.

The village was used as a filming location for the 2012 film version of "The Woman in Black" starring Daniel Radcliffe. Doubling as the ficticious village of Crythin Gifford in the horrific tale, some scenes were also filmed in the surrounding countryside Littondale.
