The Twelve Apostles is a rock circle of unknown age and origin on Ilkley Moor.
Like many of these kinds of stone circles within the United Kingdom (and indeed other parts of Europe) nobody really knows their purpose, though there are some who believe that they are pagan religious sites, zombie meeting points - or even landing sites for UFOs and other strange thingies..
