Beck Head Cave is the main resurgence of the waters from the Ingleborough Cave / Gaping Gill system - the stream of Clapham Beck rising from the base of a cliff by a bridge adjacent to the main (dry) entrance of Ingleborough Cave in Clapdale, a pleasant walk from the village of Clapham in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales' "Three Peaks" country.
