Cautley Spout is a series of cataracts where Red Gill Beck tumbles at the edge of Cautley Crags from the shoulder of the Calf (the highest of the Howgill Fells) in to a wide glacial "corrie" near Sedbergh in the "Yorkshire" Dales (although this part of the national park area now lies in Cumbria).
