Gargrave is a village which lies just outside the market town of Skipton on the main A65 route to Settle and Ingleton.
The infant River Aire passes through the village, its source at Aire Head Springs near Malham in Malhamdale being only a few miles away. The Pennine Way also passes by the village, as does the Leeds - Liverpool canal.
